ladies, I hate to burst your bubble(s), but in fact, people are smiling because we, in our cager cars, are good, red-blooded ‘mericans, and we think y’all on the bikes might be a bit, well, dim. KIDDING! (well, on my behalf, anyway….)

Hooray for you! Riding a bike is just so much more civilized than being contained in a car. I like the quiet. And looking around. And waving to small children with whom I would not otherwise interact because I’m not that fond of small children.

Yes, the brakes do squeak in the rain. And I whine.
